My client is a highly regarded mid tier Forensic Accounting, Corporate Recovery and Advisory Accounting Services firm. It provides the highest quality of service to its clients and continues to “lead the way” in its field of expertise. It offers a wide range of forensic services in the areas of Forensic accounting, Business Valuations and Forensic IT.
Due to ongoing expansion, it now urgently seeks a Forensics Analyst who has already worked at a Chartered firm or other relevant accounting or finance environment, preferably within forensics, audit, business services or corporate finance.
The purpose of the role is to provide support to the team in the specialised areas of Forensic Accounting and Business Valuations. This involves providing company, individual and industry analysis and reporting information to the Managers and Partners of the Group in a timely and accurate fashion. This will entail the preparation of complex financial models, databases and valuation and damages calculations. A strong ability to analyse, manipulate and interpret financial, accounting and other data is desired.
As the successful candidate you should have a high level of relevant academic achievements and always be striving for perfection.

Specific skills- to perform the job effectively you should:
-Be able to prepare complex schedules, models and calculations using MS Excel.
-Know how to demonstrate the ability to identify and distinguish between most accounting records and evidence sources. Demonstrate an ability to understand the information ordinarily disclosed on each piece of evidence and to identify where information is missing.
-Show an ability to understand the relationship between profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow and notes information. Is able to identify, locate and analyse information ordinarily prepared in support of such amounts & disclosures.
-Develop basic knowledge of the legal process, especially with regards to litigation issues such as discovery processes.
-Obtain, organise and analyse transactional information in an appropriate format with a high degree of accuracy. Can make decisions as to the most appropriate software tool for such tasks.
